My professional journey began in the performing arts, where years of ballet training instilled discipline, resilience, collaboration, and a strong work ethic. I later earned a BA in Fashion Design and founded my own company, Encena Costumes, which I successfully ran for over seven years, leading the development of award-winning costumes and collaborating internationally across the United States, Germany, Taiwan, and Brazil. Working closely with clients and treating the body as an interface strengthened my ability to iterate through testing, feedback, and precise execution while balancing creativity with feasibility.

Driven to operate at a larger scale and within more complex systems, I expanded my practice at the intersection of design and technology during my MA at the Berlin University of the Arts, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), where I explored wearable technology and interactive textiles. In 2025, I began a Master’s in UX Design at Falmouth University to formalise the product design methodologies I had already been applying in practice, focusing on discovery research, problem framing, experimentation, prototyping, and high-fidelity interface design.
